Home → Opportunities →Job listing Job Listing   Global Purchasing Manager No.： 05 E-mail： hr5@51offer.net.cn Submit Date： 2010-9-10 Location： suzhou Vacancy： 1 Experience： 8 Salary Range： Unlimited Job Type： full-time Degree： Bachelor Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES:  •    Analysis, defining and implementing new purchasing processes •    Identify, build relationships and sign contracts with suppliers in low cost countries •    Lead a team of buyers, providing them direction and support, and ensuring they have the appropriate skills, tools and resources to successfully perform their job •    Responsible for tracking, forecasting and reporting material cost changes. Work closely with Finance in regards to implementing tools to analyse the development of purchasing prices. •    Responsible for reducing total purchasing cost for the entire Group through building up a network of suppliers in low cost countries (China, Eastern Europe and Mexico) and a close cooperation with Engineering and Manufacturing. •    Lead the negotiation with major, strategic suppliers. EDUCATION Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.   QUALIFICATIONS •    5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Supply Chain,   Outsourcing and Purchasing •    Broad experience in purchasing from low cost countries •    Excellent knowledge in English language. Knowledge in Chinese, German or Spanish language will be considered as important assets. •    Global sourcing and global procurement experience is a must •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills •    Excellent time management, project management, and negotiation skills.
