DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Follow the guidelines from group Asia for the preparation, evaluation and submission of financial business plans for China factories and coordinate the communication between regional FP&A and all the factories.

2.      Evaluate the economic implications of proposed actions in the annual business plans of the factories and support Sr. FM of China manufacturing in the planning process.

3.      On a monthly basis, re-assess performance against the business plan & forecast, make recommendations for corrective action.  This re-assessment will cover the entire range of business activities including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss performance focusing on operating performance vs. plan & previous forecast.

4.      Support Sr. FM of China manufacturing to provide management at all levels with appropriate and timely evaluation of financial performance of the factories through a business-tracking program.

5.      Lead the team covering the preparation of monthly forecasts, evaluation of special programs/targets, and assessment of risks/opportunities.

6.      Support activities covering the financial data of Capital Appropriation Requests of the factories and coordinate in requiring BSS Asia or higher level approval

7.      Evaluate the financial implications of major programs such as material productivity assessment (Schedule A & B), and engineering innovation programs (PRB process), etc.

8.      Responsible for the performance of other tasks related to this position as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications:

-        Bachelor degree in the area of Finance, Statistics or Economics

-        At least 5 solid years’ experience in financial planning & analysis in an established multi-national corporation

-        Ability to communicate well both in written and spoken English language

-        Independent worker and good interpersonal skills

-        Potential to be promoted to manager level is plus
